A fascinating array of subjects are covered within the P’ninim weekly curriculum, and are studied in depth throughout the course of the year.

These include:

• A solid core curriculum covering many areas of Tanach, in particular those areas not studied in most high schools
• An essential course on HaBayit HaYehudi by Rebetzin Altusky, stressing the ideals and emphasis of a Torah true home
• An intellectually stimulating class on Machshava delivered by Rabbi Yosef Brown;
• *New! An in-depth class in Inyonim BeMaharal heard from Rabbi Yehoshua Hartman;
• A weekly class on Emunah basics with Rabbi Reuven Laufer, based on the principles of Sefer HaKuzari
• Sh’roshei HaMitzvos and Principles of Kiruv - a not-to-be-missed course by Rabbi Dovid Kaplan; •New! Rabbi Kaplan on Topics in the Parsha
• A thorough program in Torah-true Hashkafa heard from Rabbi Zev Leff;
• Classes in Halacha - a continuous series in halacha focusing on the laws directly applicable to the Jewish home
• A weekly shiur on Beiur Tefillah by Rabbi Avrohom Gross, expounding on a spectrum of Halacha, Aggada, Peirush, and D’rush
• In a more informal setting, topics of interest are presented and discussed over a weekly “class brunch”, in which students participate together with teachers.
• *New! - Our Mentor Program in which each student has the opportunity to learn one-on-one with a teacher. Learning can be from a sefer or discussion-oriented.
• *New! Hashkafa in the Kitchen - Our students “lend a hand” in Erev-Shabbos preparations at families selected by the school, many of whom are staff members.

What other Torah and Kiruv personalities will we meet?

In addition to the standard curriculum, our students are treated to regular exciting and inspiring guest lectures and special events, designed to complement their stimulating weekly program. Some of these events are:

• Guest lecturers including: Rabbi Avraham Gurwitz; Rabbi Y.A. Sinclair (former Hollywood actor); Rabbi Osher Wade (former German pastor); Rebetzin B. Barg (author of Voices in the Silence); Rabbi Dovid Orlofsky, and more..

• Regular Yemei Iyun on various topics, both with members of staff and guest lecturers. Topics include: The Shoah, Shidduchim, Kollel...

• Limudei Laylah, a bi-weekly learning program, in which our students are invited to their teachers’ homes for an evening of informal discussion on vital topics.

• Our annual Aish HaTorah Discovery program - a series of sessions arranged exclusively for P’ninim in which our students get to meet and hear from the world’s foremost Kiruv personalities on an array of fundamentals, including Torah Min HaShamayim, Hashgachah through History, Codes of the Torah... This, in addition to clarifying many areas of Hashkafa for the student herself, enhances the graduates ability to reach out to unaffiliated Jews and be mekarev them to Torah.
